The teaser pages and the first five pages of any monograph read here for nothing. AUD $20 opens one of them in full in the AIP Reader: the photographs, the chromatograms, the structures, the assay tables and the full reference list, set the way the Institute prints it.

The monograph stays on the Institute’s disk. Each page is printed to your screen in your name, with a copy serial, for as long as you hold the licence – on any device you sign in on, one at a time.

Your copy is always the current one. When bench data lands in Cardwell and a monograph is revised, the Reader moves you onto the new version while you are reading it. There is nothing to download and nothing to keep up to date.

What $20 buys

The monograph

The whole monograph as the Institute typesets it, 25 to 60 pages depending on the plant: macroscopy and microscopy photographs, HPLC and TLC fingerprints, constituent structures, the assay and quality tables, the clinical evidence tables and every reference.

The licence

Personal, for life, read in the AIP Reader. Your name, your account and a copy serial sit under every page you are shown. No file is handed over and there is no print path: the printed edition is set and printed by the Institute and ordered separately.

Memberships

A Scholar membership opens every monograph in the Reader. Below Scholar the sample pages are what a reader gets. AUD $20 opens one title for good.

Revisions

Your copy is the current copy. The Reader opens whatever revision the monograph is published at, and if it is revised while you are reading it you are moved onto the new pages within twenty seconds.

One screen at a time

One licence reads on one screen. Open the same monograph on a second device and the first one closes mid-sentence, which is what keeps a licence a licence.

Every page you are shown carries your name and the copy serial, in ink you can see and in two marks you cannot. A photograph of the screen names the account that was reading it.
